Some real estate brokerage companies in the Iowa City area are “Dual Agency” companies which means that they represent both the buyer and the seller in the same real estate transaction even if there are two agents involved in the transaction, one representing the seller and one representing the buyer. Since both agents are licensed by the same broker, they are still operating under dual agency if one agent represents the buyer and the other agent represents the seller. Dual agency relationships do not carry with them all of the traditional fiduciary duties and full representation to the clients.

Mike Vermace works on a 4.5% total sellers commission. When you list your home with us you will never be charged more than 4.5% whether Vermace Realty sells your home or another broker/agent sells your home and we never charge a closing transaction fee.

Immediately upon listing with us, we will place your home in the Iowa City/Coralville/North Liberty area Multiple Listing Service (MLS), which exposes your home to all buyers working with cooperating member broker/agents.
